The last nine months have been very busy for us. In October 2009, Bev had gall bladder surgery and when she finally awoke from the pain killers, Chuck was in the midst of planning an addition onto our work shop. Not just an extra storeroom, but a 30' by 30' room. It would serve two purposes, first to have a place to host Chuck's family reunion in July and then become Bev's long desired painting studio. Once she healed, the work began in earnest. Between filling orders, we wired, insulated, sheet rocked, textured, painted and hung cabinets. With 3 weeks to spare we are done. We now have room to display our wood pieces and if you are ever in Idaho, come see us. Needless to say, our What's New page is pretty bare. Hopefully that will change soon!

Palette and Sawdust is a retail and wholesale wood manufacturing business. Our aim is to help promote Decorative Tole painting, to introduce and attract new people to the craft, and have fun doing it.

We strive to produce quality items made from wood at a fair price and have many happy customers.

The woods in our creations are Baltic Birch, Poplar or MDF. We specialize in custom cuts and design. In addition to the items on our web site we will also cut ornaments and other cutouts. (1/8 to 1-1/2 thickness.)

We enjoy creating unique designs for our customers and will gladly build a custom wood surface for your design from a picture, line drawing or pattern. Please call or email for an estimate.

Special wood for special projects can be requested and an estimate will be e-mailed to you.

Designers – if you need a special project built for that special design you have running around in your head, give us a call. We will design the surface for you and only introduce it once a pattern has been developed by you.
